WHIRLWIND

Moi in a whirlwind, but things are calming down.

I have no real plans for summer, and I would like for it to stay that way. However, one thing is certain... many coffee dates with my lovelies. I am thinking of making a coffee notebook, I might just share it with you.

I am in love with Alexis Bledel's look from top to bottom! She wore a beautifully crafted Phillip Lim dress and amazing Loeffler Randall sandals at the Independent Filmmaker Project Spring Gala and she looks so, so pretty.

TAMILA PURVIS.

I love jewellery. I think my jewellery posts speak for themselves. I must honestly admit, that I have never been one to wear jewellery. Just a year ago, my mother took me and my sisters into a jewellery shop in Turkey and I just wasn't interested. I ended up buying a really simple gold ring - the cheapest in the store. However, my heart for jewellery is, as of now, a rapid growing plant.

I just stumbled upon pieces by jewellery designer Tamila Purvis (via garance doré). Not only are they statement jewellery, they come with stories.

LESS IS MORE PT. II

I am in love with the French label, American Vintage.

So simple, light, silky, soft, comfortable and timeless. The colour palette they have made use of is uplifting. Perfect for the summer! These pictures are from their summer/spring '10 lookbook, which you can find here.

I am trying to adopt the 'less is more' philosophy, which these beautiful French ladies seems to be leaning on. Elegance radiates from their styles.

BLACK DRESS.

I am drained and wishful. And the wishfulness is messing with my head... though, it would be nice to wake up tomorrow morning to see this dress hanging in my closet. ;)
